Introducing PRO-NOX™ to the Practice

During the past few years, Dr. Cooper’s patients have said that they wish they could undergo minimally invasive cosmetic procedures under local anesthesia or awake. No one likes to deal with the hangover effects of anesthesia, or the preoperative protocol required. That is why Dr. Cooper has made the decision to bring PRO-NOX™ into his practice. Read on to learn more about PRO-NOX™.

What is PRO-NOX™?

PRO-NOX™ is a pneumatically driven gas system designed to deliver a 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide mixture to adult and pediatric patients for the relief of pain and anxiety during their cosmetic procedures. It Is Patient-controlled Inhaled Analgesia for In-Office Use and takes effect in seconds, offering immediate relief of pain and anxiety. It is ideal for aesthetic procedures, including hair restoration, permanent makeup, tattoo removal, liposuction, or other forms of plastic surgery.

Portable, and easy to use while decreasing the risk of infection, many plastic surgery practices in the United States are choosing the PRO-NOX™ Nitrous Oxide System.

This device will allow more patients to undergo plastic surgery procedures under local anesthesia with minimal awareness. The purpose of the device is to make local office procedures more comfortable and safer, while allowing the patient to see optimal results.

How Does It Work?

PRO-NOX™ is administered by the patient, and works to decrease pain, anxiety, and awareness during the procedure. Following the procedure, the patient will be able to drive themselves home, and will be fully aware. This device will allow for more cosmetic procedures under local anesthesia and will allow for increased patient comfort.

PRO-NOX™ can be used for many plastic surgery treatments and procedures, from Botox and fillers to lasers, liposuction, and more. If you are interested in learning more about PRO-NOX™ at our practice, contact us today to schedule a consultation.
