Our Operating Suite
Our operative suite is a state-of-the-art facility that provides the safety of a hospital in a comfortable, modern, and private office setting. An ultra-sterile, private, and personalized environment, along with a team of specialized, consistent, and experienced plastic surgery personnel, offers patients a top-notch experience. As a team, we strive to create a special operative and recovery experience for every patient.
Accreditation

Our surgical facility is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, one of the largest not-for-profit accrediting organizations in the United States and the gold standard for plastic surgery facilities. Our facility was built in consultation with Universal Healthcare Consulting, a risk management team with over 20 years of experience creating office operating rooms to the highest level of specification. Our goal in creating our facility was to exceed the standards of state and national office accreditation organizations.
What Is the Advantage of an Office-Based Surgical Facility?
Discretion & Confidentiality
Our private cosmetic surgery office provides complete privacy and discretion. Our employees sign non-disclosure agreements, and we pride ourselves on maintaining discretion and confidentiality. We perform only one surgery at a time, and typically you will not see any other patients on the day of your surgery.
Specialized, Top Quality, Consistent Operating Team
Dr. Cooper’s surgical staff, including anesthesiologists, CRNAs, RNs, OR techs, and medical assistants, are trained and experienced specifically in plastic surgery. He handpicks the OR team that he believes will deliver the best care and results for his patients. We have a consistent team of professionals who work together in our operating room several days a week, resulting in safer and more successful surgery.
Operating Equipment Specialized for Plastic Surgery
All of our operating room equipment and supplies are specialized for cosmetic surgery and specific cosmetic procedures. We have a wide assortment of specialized equipment for cosmetic procedures that would often not be available in a hospital.
Healthy Atmosphere
We only perform elective cosmetic surgery in our surgical suite, unlike hospitals that also treat infections, disease, critically ill patients, and trauma. Our patients and operating facility are not exposed to the volume of patients, variety of germs and infections, or wear and tear that is typically found in a hospital.
Ease of Scheduling
Our goal is to make your cosmetic surgery experience smooth and comfortable. You will be greeted by the friendly faces of our staff, who will be familiar with you and your cosmetic procedure. We have full control over our operative schedule and know how to schedule your surgical time to minimize your preoperative wait times. In a hospital setting, the surgeon has much less control over the surgical schedule, and surgeries can often be delayed.
Clean, Comfortable, Private Setting
Our offices were designed to reflect our commitment to providing a high-end, private setting for your cosmetic procedure. Calming tones, a quiet atmosphere, well-trained staff, comfortable seating, and private rooms for preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery help reduce anxiety and make your surgical experience as calm and smooth as possible.
Our Staff
Dr. Cooper performs every procedure himself with the support of an experienced and consistent staff of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgical assistants, and registered nurses. Our nursing staff are RNs (registered nurses) and accompany each patient in a private recovery room during postoperative recovery. All of our RNs maintain ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Dedicated Anesthesia Partner
We recognize that many patients have anxiety and concerns about the anesthesia associated with their surgery. We maintain the highest standard of care and best practices for cosmetic surgery. Prior to surgery, both Dr. Cooper and our anesthesia provider will evaluate each patient’s past medical, surgical, and anesthesia history. They will consider your surgical procedures, length of surgery, medical history, and allergies to establish the most appropriate anesthesia plan for each patient.
Our anesthesia provider has over 15 years of experience in cosmetic surgery anesthesia and works with Dr. Cooper and his team two to three days a week, providing anesthesia for all of Dr. Cooper’s cosmetic surgery patients. Dr. Cooper has found that having a consistent anesthesia provider, as well as a consistent surgical team, results in smoother, safer, and more successful surgery.
Dr. Cooper and our anesthesia provider believe in narcotic-sparing anesthesia when possible, helping patients wake up refreshed, without postoperative nausea or a “hungover” feeling. Our one-on-one nursing care ensures that patients are monitored during postoperative recovery and wake up safely, with as little discomfort as possible.

Design and Equipment

Our operating room suite was built and supervised by an experienced general contractor with 20 years of experience in hospital and medical office construction. Important design features include built-in custom cabinetry to house oxygen and nitrous oxide tanks, built-in speakers, the brightest, most efficient operative lighting, a customized air conditioning system, an elaborate fire alarm system inspected by the Jupiter Fire Department, and a high-capacity emergency generator capable of powering the entire surgical suite for hours.
We perform all types of anesthesia in our operative suite, and our equipment is truly state-of-the-art. We use a BIS VISTA monitoring system designed to measure patient awareness during surgery and regulate anesthesia delivery, ensuring patients are comfortable and unaware during surgery, whether they are receiving general or sedation anesthesia. We also use warming blankets and mechanical calf compression devices in the operating suite and recovery areas. Our operating room table is a full-size AMSCO hospital OR table with tilt and return-to-level function, as well as battery backup. We upgraded the standard foam tabletop to the most comfortable three-ply foam surface, which is seamless. We use hotel-quality linens on our operating table and provide each patient with a plush bathrobe during their operative stay. Our operating suite is designed to provide a soothing, modern environment.
