What is ThermiTight?

ThermiTight is a nonsurgical treatment that is designed to tighten loose or sagging skin. It harnesses controlled thermal energy to heat fatty tissues underneath the surface of the skin, causing tightening of loose or lax skin.

This treatment can be used on many different areas of the body, including the neck, breasts, arms, abdomen, thighs, and knees.

The benefits of ThermiTight include:

  • One application
  • Minimally invasive
  • Manageable downtime

Who is a Good Candidate for ThermiTight?

Healthy individuals who are looking for noticeable improvements in the loose skin but do not wish to undergo surgery. Ideal patients will have realistic expectations as to what to expect. It is important to understand that, while ThermiTight does offer effective results, they will not be as dramatic as those of a surgical procedure.

The ThermiTight Procedure

During the ThermiTight treatment, local anesthetic will be applied to help ensure a comfortable treatment session. Next, small probe is used to gently heat the tissues using radio frequency energy to a physician selected temperature. This energy shrinks the tissues, helping any loose skin to be tightened. After the application, a wrap is applied.

The ThermiTight procedure is usually quick, however, the length of treatment will vary depending on the size of the treatment area.

Following your ThermiTight treatment, you may experience mild discomfort, redness, and swelling near the treatment area. Tissues under the skin will shrink immediately, however, full results can be seen after about 6-8 weeks. There is also little downtime, and most people can resume normal activities the next day.

While ThermiTight results are not permanent, they can last for up to several years.
